Upleadon

The distinctive timbered tower at St Mary’s church dates back to Tudor times.

The Church, dedicated to St. Mary the Virgin, was greatly restored in 1969 and is probably well over a thousand years in origin.

As the autumn evenings are drawing in, we now have the opportunity to illuminate our wonderful Church Tower again. TImings are likely to change as the evenings draw in further, but for the moment it will be illuminated from Sunday 13th from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. If you would like to make a donation in order to see the Church Tower illuminated at other times, would like to see it illuminated as an act of remembrance for a loved one, or would like to see it illuminated as a celebration of an event, then please contact one of the committee members or send a message to us through Facebook.
